tranny will not go into park?

1997 Ford f150. Put bushings on shifter lever, got play out of lever, but still won’t fully engage into park. Looks like you can adjust where cable hooks up to tranny, but may need special tool.

Yes it can be adjusted there and no you don’t need a special tool, you just need a flat screw driver to push the plastic lock up to release it.Make shure when you do release the lock that you put the tranny leaver park in the truck and the leaver on the side of the tranny in park before you attach it again.
