Tacx I-Magic or Fortius?

Can anyone tell me the real difference between these 2 VR trainers? I am looking to buy one as a gift for xmas and am not clear which one to go for? Thanks

The main difference is that the Fortius has a wider range of operation and can develop more resistance to simulate steeper climbs. The problem with the Fortius is that at certain loads it is not smooth in its feel. The European units don’t have this problem, seems to have something do to with the Euro version running on 220vac and the U.S (N.A.) version running on 110vac. Still either are the best VR trainers around for the price.
Note: I’m not sure right now but for a while if you ordered an I-magic you got a Fortius due to a lack of I-magic’s.
